A rectangle of the brightest Royston Turquoise reminds me of the first time visiting Bear Lake in Utah. Driving through a mountain pass and having this inland, turquoise lake come into view is breathtaking. It's not a sea but it has the coloring of a Caribbean ocean. And if legend is correct, Utah was once under the sea millions of years ago, so perhaps it is a remnant of the vast oceans that covered the earth.
Royston Turquoise set in sterling silver, Band is Roll printed (passed through a rolling mill with a texturing medium - in this case, dried corn husk), Textured, oxidized, hallmarked.
